Portraiture
As a sculptor I offer a formal portrait sculpture
service. Clients can commission works from approximately £1500. The works above
are cast in a bronze effect plaster and represent the most economical option.
More expensive casting media such as cast bronze will be more costly. Quotes are
available, please do not hesitate to contact me.
The commissioning process is as follows:

Initial contact: This is a discussion about budget and casting material usually over the telephone.

Images: A photo shoot of the subject
or analysis of existing photographic material if the subject is deceased (no
commitment required at this stage).

Commissioning of initial modelling work:
You will be able to view an initial clay draft in my studio. The
commissioning of this draft will cost £250 and if you are unhappy you can
cancel the commission at this stage.

Commissioning the final work:
Refinement of the initial clay draft will take place, which in the case of
a living subject may require at least one sitting. You will be at liberty to
view the work as it progresses and offer your opinions and suggestions.
Commissioning of the final work does require you to commit to the completion
of the commission and the full agreed commission fee payable.
